The original elements, such as the white tiles and the concrete basins in the Laundry Room, enhance the industrial charm of the location. Since 1960, the Werkspoor Cathedral has been the setting for the construction of steel structures, including trains and bridges. The Assembly Hall, with a height of 23 metres and a surface area of over 5,000 square metres, certainly justifies the name ‘cathedral’. Upon entering, you feel the grandeur of this industrial space, where the original elements of the old factory are still visible. The Werkspoor Cathedral is not only a symbol of creativity and craftsmanship, but also a versatile event location.
