Great night out
Great night out, so nice that combination of film and food at the same time as in the film, streamlined service and delicious snacks.
Sandra MelisHad a great evening
Had a great evening; eating the dish shown on the movie screen greatly enhances your movie experience! Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, highly recommended!
Miriam SchumackerVery nice and tasty experience
Very fun and delicious experience. At the same time with the main character himself live tasting what is eaten in the movie, who wouldn't want that? With your date, with friends, as a family outing - this is a top experience! Be quick though because tickets always sell out quickly.
Heleen VTSSpecial evening out
Special evening out: watching a movie and eating what you see. Super fun and it was so tasty!! Delicious food and fantastic to experience, I will definitely go again!
Tanja MolewijkEat what you see is brilliant...
Rutger and his team have developed this concept into a beautiful experience! The romantic idea is correct. Long tables, good atmosphere, good conversations and good food. It's amazing how good quality food it is to serve so many people at the same time. And let's face it, eat what you see is brilliant...
Arjen de BruinI'm a big fan!
Super fun concept where you watch film and are served dishes during the film that are also eaten at the same time in the film. I'm a big fan!
Tjandra, 2024Perfect Combination of Film, Drinks and Conviviality!
The boozy brunch at Sideways was a huge success! The atmospheric location, perfect timing of the drinks and delicious snacks made it extra fun. Super fun, with those drinks included! Fitted perfectly with this film, of course; we were given lots of goodies to taste and we had a great time!
Ellen, 2024This is an experience you really need to experience
This is an experience you really have to experience. The chocolate presented with the film Chocolat was really brilliant. The whole entourage is cool.
Desirée, 2024Delicious Food, Great Atmosphere and Immediately Fancy Next Time!
Hugely enjoyable experience. Nice food, positive atmosphere and very nice staff. 2nd time I've gone, this time taking my parents with me and they also immediately check when the next show is that we will visit.
Madelief, 2024We will definitely come back again!
Had a great night out at Cinema Culinair! A very fun and original concept that was executed very well. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cosy and the film ‘The Menu’ fitted in perfectly. We will definitely come back again!
Myra, 2024Perfect concept for a night out.
Perfect concept for an evening out. The food is also excellent for vegetarians. Partly because of the friendly service, the small scale and beautiful location (Tolhuis Amsterdam), there is a pleasant atmosphere.
Claudia, 2024Cinema Culinary Makes Movie Dinners Exciting
Some films literally make your mouth water, and I am not talking about handsome actors, but the delicious food that passes by on screen.
Bye Bye BankhangenFood and cinema... combined!
Unique and great experience for lovers of food and cinema combined... The best way to be immersed in a movie....
Guilleaume, 2024What an experience. Eating = coming together
What an experience. Eating = coming together, that is very clear here. The atmosphere is so cozy, respectful, nice. Chocolat is highly recommended for a filling brunch, and this experience tastes like more. Finally, respect for the great service and reception! 3
Doortje, 2024This is highly recommended!
This is a truly unique experience that you must experience! We went for the film Ratatouille. Despite having seen this one many times before, this was a completely different experience. If you are looking for a unique gift or fun date night, this is highly recommended!
Iris, 2024Such a fun and new experience!
Such a fun and new experience! Delicious food, wines and incredibly cozy brunch this way. Nice atmosphere and really nice as a gift, date or just nice day out!
Eveline, 2024Enjoyed the food, atmosphere and the movie of course!
This is a great night out. Cinema and dinner? Why not at the same time and eat with the movie characters. Chef and Ratatouille attended both nights enjoyed the food, atmosphere and the movie of course!

Robyn, 2024What an A-MA-ZING evening
What an A-MA-ZING evening this was, the slogan “what you see is what you eat” really comes true. Without giving too much away, you really have to experience this yourself, this is a real must do/see.
Petra, 2024Multidimensional experience!
See what you eat and eat what you see, all in a great atmospheric location. Highly recommended!
Gijs, 2024The whole experience is fantastic!!! An experience that really needs to be experienced. A good feel-good movie and fantastic food. We watched the movie Chef and ooh.... the gumbo.... I could write an ode to the gumbo. It can seriously cure depression!!!

First performances at bird
Room full of friends. Chef DJ Wooldrik cooks everyone to a high, just like in the movies. What you see is what you eat. Good film. Good food. Great timing.
First film of course Estômago. With dishes like pasta puttanesca scooped from the pan, rice with worms and Anita e Garibaldi. Guests raved about the concept. “We want more, we want more”. Cinema Culinair changes course: from publisher to film-food-events.

Eating yourself to death with naked women In a Bugatti
The ultimate food movie: La Grande Bouffe. Talky 1973 film about friends who eat themselves to death. 20 courses + unlimited wine + naked women + Bugatti.
From Bird’s kitchen: black pudding, crepe Suzette, quail, cassoulet, pizza, mashed potatoes, etc. At your own risk: film we want to do on special occasions.

Book about food film estômago from cinema culinair
Idea “Seeing what you eat. Eat what you see” is too good to keep to ourselves. Time for a book+culinary script+dvd, so people can do it themselves at home. A book about Julie Julia was not allowed by Julia Child’s heirs. Estômago was. Director excited and curious.
1000 units sold without publisher or central distributor. Out of pocket! Last copies perhaps still for sale somewhere as collectors’ items and now as pdf….

Burnt Beef Bourguignon, Just like in the movies
Sometimes things go wrong. Or maybe: too well. In the film Julie Julia, the boeuf Bourguignon burns. On March 1, 2015, that also happened to us. Just like in the film. Fortunately, this is an exception.
Sinds 2017 doen we na afloop een survey onder bezoekers. Met fijne rapportcijfers. Onze gasten geven ons concept gemiddeld een 9,4!
