Grease (Kleiser, 1978) is the ultimate feel-good musical full of hairspray, hot rods, and heartbreak. In the summer of 1959, Danny and Sandy experience a sizzling summer romance—but everything changes when they unexpectedly meet again at Rydell High School. While Danny tries to maintain his tough image and Sandy searches for her place among the Pink Ladies, the story unfolds in swinging songs, dance scenes, and unforgettable style. This movie night is all about food that makes you happy. We’ll serve you a swinging mix of American classics, completely in the American style of the 1950s. Think comfort food that could have come straight from the Rydell High school cafeteria or a real diner along Route 66.
From juicy smashburgers to sweet cake rolls à la Twinkie, and of course a thick cotton candy to go with it. Everything lovingly prepared by our own rock ‘n’ roll chef Anja. Just like in the movie, you can taste the atmosphere, the fun, and above all: the flavor!

Cinema Culinair is all about perfect timing. While you sing along to You’re the One That I Want or dream away with Danny & Sandy, something special happens: just when they’re eating in the movie, you get the same dish in front of you.
The culinary script is timed down to the second. No fast food pace, but dinner-worthy precision. If at 1 hour, 14 minutes, and 53 seconds someone takes a bite of a juicy smash burger or a lick of a sundae, you’ll taste the same thing—at exactly that moment.
That’s the real Grease experience: you see it, you hear it, and most importantly—you taste it.

Come on time and get a taste of the atmosphere. No cinema, no restaurant, but an urban or classic ballroom with high ceilings, movie screens and long tables. But first: buy a bottle of wine to accompany the film. Or something else delicious.

At the table, you’ll be told how it works. Seven carefully prepared dishes are served, perfectly timed with the film. There is a break halfway the movie. As soon as the movie starts, the first dishes appear in front of you, quickly and efficiently. Then it’s time to countdown…. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and taste. Together all at once.

You eat exactly the same as the actors in the movie. Right down to the second. So you experience the film with all your senses: see, hear, smell, taste and feel. It couldn’t be more intense. see, hear, smell, taste and feel. As if you were sitting at the table with the actors.
